The start of next century of XAVIER basketball will be “a changin'" with TEAM 101 led by Sean Miller who is back for a command performance, and Byron Larkin & Andy Mac Williams will tell you about it. The Musketeer Club’s favorite Hall of Fame Analysts, Larkin and Andy Mac will deliver their preseason thoughts on the 2022-23 Men’s Basketball season. Musketeer Club: Celebrating 40+ Golden Years of XU Basketball
The Musketeer Club will be celebrating 40+ Golden Years of Xavier basketball with a special event that is set for Thursday, June 2 at Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Kentucky. The event will feature former Xavier Head Coach and Hall of Famer, Bob Staak. He will be introduced by HOF'er Joe Sunderman. Staak is revered as the The Architect of the "Glory Forties," helping chart a course for Xavier's ascent and sustained excellence in Xavier basketball over the last 40 years. Be sure to get your reservation in soon as seats are limited!

Xavier Wins 2022 NIT Championship
Xavier TEAM 100 topped off a crazy 2021-22 basketball season on an extreme HIGH Thursday night at Madison Square Garden edging Texas A&M (SEC) 73-72 to win the NIT Championship. Jack Nunge scored the winning basket on a running right hand hook shot over a double team with 3.4 secs. left off a well executed baseline in-bounds play. A&M had the ball last. XU forced Tyrece Radford to catch the ball deep in the backcourt. He speed dribbled to about 18 feet and shot it. The ball rimmed out at the buzzer.

XU Women Complete Sweep of Butler
Five Musketeers scored in double figures on Sunday night as Xavier topped Butler, 73-54, at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The Musketeers (9-17, 4-13 BIG EAST) swept the season series vs the Bulldogs (1-23, 0-15 BIG EAST) as Xavier earned its first season sweep of a conference foe since 2018-19 (beat Seton Hall twice).
